Anti-CD4 antibodies are available for the flow cytometric detection of the target protein, 'CD4 molecule'. In humans, the CD4 gene encodes a protein 458 amino acids in length with a mass of 51.1 kDa. Synonyms for this protein include IMD79, OKT4D, T-cell surface glycoprotein CD4, and T-cell surface antigen T4/Leu-3. CD4 orthologs have been reported in the following species: mouse, rat, bovine, canine, chimpanzee, guinea pig, horse, porcine, rabbit, rhesus monkey, sheep. CD4 antibodies can serve as useful tools for identifying populations of immune cells, such as T cells and eosinophils, by flow cytometry. Visit the antibody supplier page for more product information.
