The aim of this study was a phenotypic analysis of human peripheral blood of children using minimal amount of sample. Therefore reliable staining of major leukocytes subsets such as CD4+ T cells is needed.

Human peripheral blood
50ul of human peripheral blood was stained with CD4+ antibody and incubated for 30 minutes in the dark. Then blood was lysed with BD lysing solution following the protocol provided by the company. Afterwards cells were washed three times with 1ml PBS and then resuspended in 300l FACE buffer for immediate flow cytometry.
