Nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-kB) is a transcription factor complex involved in immune response, among other important cellular response pathways. In humans, the complex is made up of five protein subunits: NFKB1 (p105), NFKB2 (p100), RELA (p65) RELB, and REL (c-Rel).
