Anti-CD11c antibodies are available for the flow cytometric detection of the target protein, 'integrin subunit alpha X'. In humans, this target is encoded by the CD11c gene, corresponding to a protein 1163 amino acids in length and a mass of 127.8 kDa. Synonyms for this protein include SLEB6, and Leu M5. CD11c orthologs have been reported in the following species: mouse, bovine, canine, chimpanzee, horse, porcine, rabbit, rhesus monkey, sheep. CD11c antibodies can serve as useful tools for identifying populations of macrophages, B cells, dendritic cells, neutrophils, monocytes, and eosinophils by flow cytometry.
