CD11c antibody works on tissue sections

The antibody stains mouse cryo sections with lymphoid tissue. The tissue used is mouse retina that was cryopreserved and cryo-embedded in optical coherence tomography (note these are frozen cryosections) and then cryosectioned at 10 microns. The tissue was then stained with the antibody overnight at 4 degrees and then imaged using a confocal microscope.  The antibody was used to stain tertiary lymphoid aggregate structures in the mouse retinas which contain different types of immune cells types including CD11c+ cells which are likely dendritic cells.
