IL17A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein interleukin 17A, which is encoded by the IL17A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an effector cytokine of innate and adaptive immune system involved in antimicrobial host defense and maintenance of tissue integrity. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 155 residues, a mass of 17.5 kDa, and is a member of the IL-17 protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be expressed in memory Th17 cells. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated and N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CTLA8, IL-17, IL17, ILA17, cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 8, and CTLA-8.
There are IL17A ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.23 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
