Anti-BCL2 like 11 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene BCL2L11 in humans. The gene may also be known as Bim, Bim EL, BimEL, BAM, bcl-2-like protein 11, and BOD. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 22.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
