Anti-CD326 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene EPCAM, or 'epithelial cell adhesion molecule' in humans. The 314-amino acid protein is a member of the EPCAM family and the CD326 antigen is a documented cancer stem cell marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
