Substrates

Substrates Substrates for applications in immunohistochemistry, immunoassays, Western blotting, and functional assays are available from a number of reputable suppliers. Among these substrates are for common antibody conjugates horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and alkaline phosphatase (AP). These include ECL, TMB, DAB, and pNPP, BCIP/NBT, respectively. Enzyme substrates for reporter assays are also available, such as luciferin for luciferase assays, and X-Gal, X-Gluc, and ONPG for beta-galactosidase.
