Anti-IL33R antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IL33R is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 1 receptor like 1, encoded by the IL1RL1 gene in humans. This 556-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for interleukin-33 (IL-33); signaling requires association of the coreceptor IL1RAP. It is localized to the cell membrane and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the kidney, lung, placenta, stomach, skeletal muscle, colon and small intestine. Other synonyms for IL33R include DER4 and FIT-1. Some IL33R antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
