Anti-D1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target D1 is a known alias name of the protein leiomodin 1, encoded by the LMOD1 gene in humans. This 600-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for proper contractility of visceral smooth muscle cells. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the lung vascular smooth muscle. Indicated applications for D1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
