Anti-Toll like receptor 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TLR4 in humans. The gene may also be known as ARMD10, Ly87, toll, CD284, TLR-4, and hToll. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 95.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
