Anti-CD107a antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene LAMP1, or 'lysosomal associated membrane protein 1' in humans. The 417-amino acid protein is a member of the LAMP family and the CD107a antigen is a documented cancer marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
