Anti-CD2 antibodies are immunodetection reagents for the measurement of CD2. This target gene encodes the protein 'CD2 molecule' in humans and may also be known as LFA2, SRBC, LFA-2, T11, T-cell surface antigen CD2, and CD2 antigen (p50), sheep red blood cell receptor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 39.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse, and rat orthologs may also be found.
