We are using a number of antibodies in a multiparameter flow cytometry panel for the phenotyping of NK cells. Our research is focused on a subpopulation of NK cells which is specifically found after infection with Cytomegalovirus and can be defined by the combinatorial expression pattern of a number of markers. This is a nice CD2 antibody with bright staining on NK cells. It is able to resolve differential expression on different NK cell subsets.

PBMCs were stained in 50 µl PBS for 15 min at room temperature. Cells were washed with 130 µl PBS/BSA and acquired on a BD LSR Fortessa II. Figure is gated on Lymphocytes/Single cells/CD14- CD19- Viable cells/CD56+ CD3- NK cells.
