Anti-Interleukin 27 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene IL27 in humans. The gene may also be known as IL-27, IL30, IL-30, Interleukin 30, and interleukin-27 subunit alpha. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 27.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
