Anti-Toll like receptor 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TLR2 in humans. The gene may also be known as CD282, Ly105, TIL4, and toll/interleukin-1 receptor-like protein 4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 89.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
