Anti-FYN proto-oncogene, Src family tyrosine kinase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FYN in humans. The gene may also be known as SLK, SYN, p59-FYN, tyrosine-protein kinase Fyn, and FYN oncogene related to SRC, FGR, YES. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 60.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
