The gene may also be known as AXLLG, AXSF, growth arrest-specific protein 6, and AXL receptor tyrosine kinase ligand. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 74.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
