Anti-TANK binding kinase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TBK1 in humans. The gene may also be known as FTDALS4, IIAE8, NAK, T2K, serine/threonine-protein kinase TBK1, and NF-kB-activating kinase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 83.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
