TBK1/NAK From Cell Signaling Shows Excellent Expression for Western Blot

Results Summary

In the study involving SH-SY5Y cells treated with beta-amyloid and/or exposed to isolated mitochondria, the TBK1/NAK antibody (#51872S) consistently demonstrated reliability and specificity. Diluted at 1:1000 in 5% BSA TBST, the antibody reliably detected LC3A/B expression across different conditions, notably showing a significant reduction in the isolated mitochondria-treated group. The Western blot analysis, with overnight incubation at 4°C followed by a 3-hour room temperature incubation using a secondary antibody (1:1000 dilution), resulted in clear and specific bands. This versatile antibody is a valuable tool in neurodegenerative research, especially in investigating the cGAS-STING pathway. It is recommended to use it with phosphorylated TBK1 protein for ratio evaluation.
