These c-kit ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of c-kit in biological samples. c-kit is an alias of the human KIT gene, which encodes the protein, KIT proto-oncogene, receptor tyrosine kinase. Notably, c-kit is known to play a role in cytoskeleton organization and B cell differentiation, among other functions. The KIT protein is 976 amino acid residues in length and 109.9 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. This protein is known to be glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include CD117.
The detection range for different c-kit ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
