Our pretests have determined that 1:128 gave us the best recovery when spiked with high standard (92%), while still leaving unspiked concentrations within the standard curve. This ELISA kit is used to assess lameness in pigs. The only problem I had with these particular kits is that they only come with 2 standards, which are only stable for 2 hours after reconstituting. This makes pretesting the kits difficult.
