Anti-Carcinoembryonic antigen related cell adhesion molecule 8 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CEACAM8 in humans. The gene may also be known as CD66b, CD67, CGM6, NCA-95, CD67 antigen, and NCA-95. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 38.2 kilodaltons in mass. The CEACAM8 marker can be used to identify Myelocytes.* Based on gene name, canine and monkey orthologs may also be found.
