Anti-TGF beta antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene TGFB1, or 'transforming growth factor beta 1' in humans. The 390-amino acid protein is a member of the TGF-beta family antibodies to the TGF beta antigen may be useful for studying growth factor signaling. The cellular localization is predicted to be secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
