Anti-EIF2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EIF2 is a known alias name of the protein eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit gamma, encoded by the EIF2S3 gene in humans. This 472-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Classic translation factor GTPase protein family. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the testis, brain, liver and muscle. Indicated applications for EIF2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
