Anti-Integrin alpha 2 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene ITGA2, or 'integrin subunit alpha 2' in humans. The 1181-amino acid protein is a member of the Integrin alpha chain family. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
