Anti-Mitofusin 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene MFN2 in humans. The gene may also be known as CPRP1, HSG, MARF, CMT2A, CMT2A2, and hyperplasia suppressor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 86.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
