These HO1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HO1 in biological samples. HO1 is an alias of the human HMOX1 gene, which encodes the protein, heme oxygenase 1. Notably, HO1 is known to play a role in angiogenesis and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other functions. The HMOX1 protein is described to be 288 amino acid residues in length and 32.8 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is noted to be expressed at higher levels in renal cancer tissue than in normal tissue. Other names for this target antigen include HMOX1D and HSP32.
Some HO1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 7.8 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
