IL33 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein interleukin 33, which is encoded by the IL33 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported to be a cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL1/ST2 receptor which in turn activates NF-kappa-B and MAPK signaling pathways in target cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 270 residues, a mass of 30.8 kDa, and is a member of the IL-1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, cytoplasm, and is secreted and is notably expressed at high level in high endothelial venules found in tonsils, Peyer patches and mesenteric lymph nodes. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. Other alias names for this target include interleukin-1 family member 11, nuclear factor for high endothelial venules, nuclear factor from high endothelial venules, and DVS27-related protein.
Some IL33 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.12 pg/mL and as high as 90 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
