Anti-GALPHA antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The GALPHA antigen is another term for the human protein succinate-CoA ligase GDP/ADP-forming subunit alpha, encoded by the SUCLG1 gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 346 residues and a mass of 36.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The GALPHA protein is a member of the Succinate/malate CoA ligase alpha subunit protein family. Other alias names for GALPHA include MTDPS9 and SUCLA1.
