Anti-AceCS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AceCS1 is a known alias name of the protein acyl-CoA synthetase short chain family member 1, encoded by the ACSS1 gene in humans. This 689-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the synthesis of acetyl-CoA from short-chain fatty acids. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for AceCS1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
