Anti-Dickkopf WNT signaling pathway inhibitor 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DKK1 in humans. The gene may also be known as DKK, SK, DKK-1, dickkopf-related protein 1, and dickkopf 1 homolog. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 28.7 kilodaltons in mass. The DKK1 marker can be used to identify Ureter Urothelium Basal Cells and Bladder Urothelium Basal Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
