Anti-MCP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MCP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CD46 gene, which encodes CD46 molecule. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of MCP has a canonical amino acid length of 392 residues and a protein mass of 43.7 kilodaltons, although 16 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for MCP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
