Anti-Trypsin-1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Trypsin-1 antigen is another term for the human protein serine protease 1, encoded by the PRSS1 gene. The protein is known to have activity against the synthetic substrates Boc-Phe-Ser-Arg-Mec, Boc-Leu-Thr-Arg-Mec, Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-Mec and Boc-Val-Pro-Arg-Mec. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 247 residues and a mass of 26.6 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is expressed in the small intestine, pancreas, and duodenum. The Trypsin-1 protein is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. These Trypsin-1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
