Anti-APS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target APS is a known alias name of the protein kallikrein related peptidase 3, encoded by the KLK3 gene in humans. This 261-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of angiogenesis and proteolysis, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the prostate. Indicated applications for APS antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
