AZURE CIELO™ REAL-TIME PCR SYSTEM

The Azure Cielo is a qPCR system designed to provide high-quality data through advanced and high-performance optical technology. It is used by academic, research and diagnostic labs for many applications.

The Cielo was designed with individual well scanning, comprising of two sets 16 fiber optics. Channel-specific excitation and emission light emitting diode light sources ensure specific wells on the qPCR plate are illuminated, which increases sensitivity and reduces background noise.

Reliably detect 1.5-fold differences in samples. Efficient illumination and detection of each well provides exception specificity and precision.

Unlike systems that perform whole plate imaging, the Cielo does not allow for excitation light to fall outside of the well, reducing potential background that could mask fluorescent signal.

Simultaneous scanning of 16 wells at the same time results in faster scanning speeds when compared to competitive systems.

An entire 96 well plate can be read in all 6 channels in 9 seconds. When combined with fast qPCR kits, the Cielo can achieve 22-minute run times for full plates.

A peltier-based thermal block system designed for superior thermal cycling ensures every run is accurate and reproducible.

Azure Cielo’s efficient optical design scans multiple data points within each well, eliminating the need for normalization dyes, such as ROX.

Do more in less time. The Cielo is engineered for multiplex experiments allowing you to analyze up to six targets per well. Azure Cielo’s optical design enables scientist to multiplex up to 6 fluorescent dyes in a single well, enabling more data to be generated from a single sample.

Multiplex up to 6 channels with high efficiencies and linearity over a wide dynamic range.

All 6 channels can be amplified with minimal or no cross talk

With the option of three or six fluorescent channels, the Cielo provides the ultimate flexibility for experimental design. Its high-sensitivity and superior resolution saves you time, money, and sample, allowing you to do more with less.

The Cielo’s smart protocols, robust durability, and intuitive user experience make it the go-to system for your research. The Cielo’s accompanying software makes qPCR easy and intuitive.

Cielo Manager is a powerful, license-free software designed to let you set up your qPCR run and analyze the data with ease. Data is seamlessly imported to your computer after your run for further analysis.

Azure understands the need to stay connected to your experiments. The Cielo gives you three ways to connect: Wi-Fi, ethernet, or USB. It sends email notifications after your run is complete, so you can optimize your time spent and access your data wherever you are.

The Cielo is also optimized for use in a clinical diagnostic setting for in-vitro diagnostics. The Cielo Dx is registered with the U.S. FDA as Class II 510(k) exempt devices, as well as CE marked under IVDD medical devices directive.

In addition to robust qPCR instruments, Azure Biosystems offers qPCR consumables, designed with accurate experiments in mind. Shop our line of tube strips, well plates, and more.
