The gene may also be known as TIF1, TIF1A, PTC6, RNF82, TF1A, and transcription intermediary factor 1-alpha. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 116.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
