Anti-Sirtuin 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SIRT3 in humans. The gene may also be known as SIR2L3, NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-3, mitochondrial, and NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-3, mitochondrial. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 43.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
