Anti-Interleukin 7 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene IL7 in humans. The gene may also be known as IL-7. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 20.2 kilodaltons in mass. The IL7 marker can be used to identify T Cells Zone Reticular Cells and Fibroblastic Reticular Cells (FRC).* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
