Anti-EBP50 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The EBP50 antigen is another term for the human protein NHERF family PDZ scaffold protein 1, encoded by the NHERF1 gene. The protein is reported to be a scaffold protein that connects plasma membrane proteins with members of the ezrin/moesin/radixin family and thereby helps to link them to the actin cytoskeleton and to regulate their surface expression. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 358 residues and a mass of 38.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and it is notably expressed in the liver, kidney, pancreas, prostate, spleen, small intestine and placenta, in particular in the syncytiotrophoblast. Other alias names for EBP50 include NHE-RF and NHERF. Indicated applications for EBP50 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
