Anti-CD194 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CD194 antigen is another term for the human protein C-C motif chemokine receptor 4, encoded by the CCR4 gene. The protein is a high affinity receptor for the C-C type chemokines CCL17/TARC, CCL22/MDC and CKLF isoform 1/CKLF1. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 360 residues and a mass of 41.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in soft tissue, small intestine, pancreas, lymph node, and cerebellum. The CD194 protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Other alias names for CD194 include CC-CKR-4 and CKR4. Some CD194 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
