Anti-Kelch like ECH associated protein 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene KEAP1 in humans. The gene may also be known as INrf2, KLHL19, KEAP1 delta C, and cytosolic inhibitor of Nrf2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 69.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
