Anti-IL-13 antibodies are tools used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the gene IL13, or 'interleukin 13'in humans. The 146-amino acid protein is a member of the IL-4/IL-13 family. Cellular localization is predicted to be secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported. Antibodies to the IL-13 antigen may be useful for studying cytokine signaling.
