Anti-ASK1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ASK1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAP3K5 gene, which encodes mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 5. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ASK1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1374 residues and a protein mass of 154.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as MAPKKK5.
