The RFP-Trap successfully enriched my mScarlet-tagged protein, but the pull-down also contained substantial non-specific binding, particularly from cytoskeletal proteins.
Works for mScarlet tag, easy and fast magnetic separation
High non-specific background
RFP-Trap works well for capturing mScarlet-tagged proteins and western blots, but less ideal for downstream interaction analysis.
