CD5 is used for identification of T cells, but also in the diagnosis of CLL, in which B cells express CD5 aberrantly. Typically, PE is too bright a dye, but in the diagnosis of CLL, it maybe a useful thing.

The results of using this antibody made sense in that the T cells were nice and positive while the rest of the lymphocytes were negative. Other WBCs were also negative (as expected).
Good positive signal and good resolution.
Very expensive and not concentrated enough.
This is a good but expensive antibody. Maybe because it is IVD.
