Epithelial cells were seeded. After 24 hours I used starvation medium (0% FBS) for 4 hours and I treated with eiF4E siRNA for 24 hours with 2% FBS medium. The western blot membrane was incubated overnight at 4 °C with the antibody. Caspase-8 was detected at 27kDa.
