It is important for our lab to distinguish which T cells have the α/β chain T cell receptor, and which ones do not (presumably gamma/delta cells). We needed a bright antibody that would not interfere with our CD3 staining. We chose this one from Coulter, and it proved to be a good choice!

Results Summary

The antibody worked well. As seen in the attached plot, there is a very good separation (1.5 log) on the stained vs. unstained cells. This is clearly seen only in the lymphocytes (red) indicating the specificity of this antibody. No interference with CD3 staining was seen.
