To further characterize cell populations it is best to initially gate on live cells. in this experiment I used PI as my live/dead stain.

This product helped me gate only on my live population. While the cells I was using in this experiment were very healthy, when you do have a large dead population this product has a very distinct + population that is easy to identify. This product can be added into your general staining panel (so you don't have to have a separate incubation like Zombie Aqua) and is used at a very dilute 1:2000
